‘Boys of Tommen’ Adds Five Actors to Cast, Including Jonathan Forbes and Cobhan O’Brien
Prime Video’s upcoming adaptation of Chloe Walsh’s bestselling novels has added Jonathan Forbes, Cobhan O’Brien, Harvey Moloney, Tristan Heanue and Lewis Brophy to its ensemble cast.
Prime Video’s upcoming series «The Boys of Tommen» has expanded its ensemble with five new cast members, including Jonathan Forbes, Cobhan O’Brien, Harvey Moloney, Tristan Heanue and Lewis Brophy. The additions round out key family roles in the adaptation of Chloe Walsh’s bestselling young-adult novels, which have developed a passionate following for their blend of Irish small-town life, friendship and first love.
Forbes, known for his work in «Catastrophe» and «The Rainmaker,» will play John Senior, the father of Johnny Kavanagh, one of the series’ central characters. O’Brien, who appeared in «Foundation,» and Moloney, whose credits include «Krimi,» have been cast as Tadhg and Ollie, the younger brothers of Shannon Lynch. Heanue, recently seen in «Clean Sweep,» will take on the role of Tony Molloy, father of Aoife Molloy. Brophy’s role has not yet been disclosed.
The casting news follows the previously announced leads, with the series adapting Walsh’s books that center on the intertwined lives of teenagers in the fictional town of Tommen, Ireland.
