«We have not spoken publicly for the better part of the last two years, and it’s not because we haven’t had anything to say,» Justin Baldoni began the video. «Because lord knows we have, but it just felt like every time we went to make a video like this, we wanted to speak, something was telling us not to.» Emily added that the moment felt right to share their perspective, noting, «There’s so much to say.»
The legal saga began in December 2024, when Lively filed a complaint and later a federal lawsuit alleging that Baldoni sexually harassed her on the set of «It Ends With Us» and orchestrated a campaign to damage her reputation after she raised concerns.
