Turnstile have announced a surprise reimagined version of their 2025 album ‘Never Enough’, featuring collaborations with Elton John, Hayley Williams, Blood Orange, A.G. Cook and others. The new record, ‘Never Enough: Versions’, arrives August 28.
Turnstile have announced a surprise reimagined version of their acclaimed 2025 album ‘Never Enough’, featuring a star-studded lineup of guest collaborators including Elton John, Hayley Williams, Blood Orange, and A.G. Cook. The new record, titled ‘Never Enough: Versions’, is set for release next Friday, August 28.
The Baltimore hardcore band revealed the project in a social media post on Friday, confirming that all 14 tracks from the original album have been rerecorded alongside a diverse range of artists. Alongside Elton John and Hayley Williams, the guest list includes Julien Baker of boygenius, Four Tet, producer A.G. Cook, Slayyyter, Dying Fetus, Oklou, Floating Points, Faye Webster, Nourished By Time, and Alex G.
‘Never Enough’ originally arrived in June 2025 and quickly became one of the most celebrated hardcore releases of the year. The album featured hit singles ‘Seein’ Stars’ and ‘Birds’, and earned Turnstile two wins at the 2026 Grammy Awards. The band also played to massive crowds at major festivals including Coachella, Primavera Sound, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza.
The reimagined project marks a bold creative move for the group, who have consistently pushed the boundaries of hardcore with a pop-infused sound. NME gave the original album a five-star review, praising it as “bright”, “eccentric”, and “furthering their unique, pop-facing take on hardcore”. The album was also ranked Number Eight on NME’s list of the Best Albums of 2025, while the single ‘Look Out For Me’ landed at Number 11 on the publication’s Best Songs of the Year ranking.
Turnstile are currently in the middle of a busy touring schedule across Europe. They are set to return to the UK next week to support Tyler, The Creator at All Points East festival in London on August 28-29. The lineup for that event also includes Rex Orange County, Mariah The Scientist, Clipse, Sexyy Red, Ravyn Lenae, Vince Staples, Daniel Caesar, Baby Keem, Dijon, Ghostface Killah, Syd, Faye Webster, Danny Brown, and Jim Legxacy.
Following their European dates, Turnstile will continue their 2026 tour across North America in September and October. The band will be supported by a rotating cast of acts including Clipse, Ceremony, Thundercat, Slayyyter, Hatebreed, Vince Staples, and Yves Tumor. Highlights of the upcoming dates include performances at Bumbershoot in Seattle, Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, Austin City Limits Music Festival, and Form Arcosanti in Arizona.
The announcement of ‘Never Enough: Versions’ comes after a period of significant mainstream exposure for the band. Last month, Turnstile were honored by the Baltimore Orioles, who hosted a night dedicated to the group at their baseball stadium. More recently, the band were the subject of a discussion on Joe Rogan’s podcast, where Rogan praised the group and offered his thoughts on the state of US rap music.
With its eclectic mix of collaborators, ‘Never Enough: Versions’ promises to offer a fresh take on an already beloved record. The project is expected to appeal not only to hardcore fans but also to a broader audience drawn by the high-profile guest appearances. As the band continues to expand their reach, this reimagined album serves as another example of their willingness to experiment and collaborate across genres.
