The official website of Ukrainian singer Sowa,, has won two international web design awards. The site, created by the Ukrainian studio Sponge, received recognition from WD Awards and Website Design Awards in late October 2026, roughly a month after it went live.
The website was launched on 25 September 2026. Development took 31 days, and the site is available in both Ukrainian and English. Its homepage presents a video feed of Sowa's music clips, giving visitors an immediate view of her visual work before they move on to the rest of the site.
The remaining sections cover her music, her biography and a collection of press coverage. Taken together, these pages gather in one place the material that fans and journalists usually have to search for across different platforms, which is the practical purpose a artist's official website is meant to serve.
Sowa is a singer from Lviv. Her debut single, «Ріка», came out in 2020, and her album «Вініл» was released in 2023. The website reflects that body of work, from her first release through to the album, and it gives the chronology of her career a clear and permanent home online.
The project was carried out by Sponge, a Ukrainian studio that has operated since 2000 and works mainly with Ukrainian artists. Over more than 25 years, the studio has built a portfolio that includes work for the food company Obolon, the online retailer Rozetka and the artist Artem Pivovarov. Sponge has also handled branding for the Odrex clinic network and for several television channels, which shows a range of commercial and cultural clients beyond music.
The studio's experience across such different sectors is relevant to a project like this one, where a music site had to be both visually striking and easy to navigate in two languages. The Ukrainian and English versions of the site reflect a choice to make the artist's work accessible beyond the domestic audience.
Winning two separate awards within weeks of the launch places the project among recognized recent examples of Ukrainian digital design. The recognition arrives in the same period that the site has been in public use, so the awards reflect a design that has been judged both at launch and in its early life online.
For a music site built in a short timeframe, the double recognition is a notable result for both the artist and the studio. It confirms that a fast, focused production process can still produce work that international juries consider worthy of honors in the web design field.
