Greg Berlanti to receive Paley Honors award at December gala
Producer Greg Berlanti will receive the Paley Center for Media's highest honor, the Paley Honors Award, at the 2026 Paley Honors Fall Gala in Beverly Hills.
Superproducer Greg Berlanti will receive the Paley Center for Media's Paley Honors Award, the organization's highest recognition, at its 2026 Paley Honors Fall Gala. The event is set for Thursday, December 3, at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, where the center will present Berlanti with the honor during the evening.
The Paley Center said additional honorees will be announced at a later date. The award places Berlanti among the figures the center chooses to recognize for lasting contributions to television and media, a category that has long been central to the institution's mission of preserving and celebrating the medium's history.
Berlanti has built a career of nearly three decades as a writer, director, showrunner and producer. Trade coverage of the honor describes his body of work as spanning a wide range of series across broadcast, cable and streaming, and notes that he has been a prolific creative force in the industry throughout that period. The center's recognition comes as he remains one of the most active names in television development.
The Paley Honors have been presented for many years as the Paley Center's top tribute, and the fall gala serves as one of the organization's major public events of the year. Recipients are typically honored for achievements that shape how audiences experience television, and the presentation is expected to draw members of the industry to the Beverly Hills event.
The announcement was first reported by trade outlets, which confirmed the date, venue and the Paley Honors designation. Further details about the program, including other honorees and the evening's schedule, are expected in the coming months.
