Ascent Creatives International Launches After DDA Talent and Worldwide Production Merger
The merger of Dattner Dispoto and Associates and Worldwide Production Agency creates Ascent Creatives International, a transatlantic talent and production company with leadership across the U.S. and U.K.
Dattner Dispoto and Associates, known in the industry as DDA Talent, and the Worldwide Production Agency have completed a merger and will operate under the new name Ascent Creatives International. The combined company brings together a talent representation business and a production agency, creating a transatlantic operation with leadership divided between the United States and the United Kingdom.
The leadership roster for Ascent spans both sides of the Atlantic. On the West Coast, the team includes Frank Balkin, Molly Bruns, Bill Dispoto, Brian Goldberg, Steve Jacob, Trevor Kossack and Erin Searcy. The company has also confirmed that Juanita — whose full name and title were not immediately available — will hold a leadership position as part of the international structure. The arrangement places senior decision-makers in the two major English-language entertainment markets, giving the new entity a presence in both Hollywood and the U.K. production sector.
The merger unites two businesses with complementary specialties. DDA Talent has focused on representing creative talent, while the Worldwide Production Agency has built its business around production services and international coordination. By combining those functions under one corporate roof, Ascent Creatives International is positioned to offer clients a broader range of services that cover both representation and production support.
The launch of Ascent reflects a continuing trend in the entertainment industry toward consolidation. Agencies and production companies have increasingly sought mergers that allow them to compete across multiple territories and service categories at once. A single company that can handle talent representation, production logistics and international distribution needs is better equipped to negotiate with studios, streamers and global buyers than a smaller firm operating in only one segment of the market.
For clients of both predecessor companies, the transition to Ascent Creatives International is expected to preserve existing relationships while expanding the resources available to them. The dual U.S.-U.K. leadership structure is designed to allow the company to respond to opportunities in both markets without relying on a single office or time zone. That structure also gives Ascent a natural advantage when working on projects that require coordination between American and British production teams, a common arrangement in film and television.
The company has not yet disclosed financial terms of the merger, the total number of employees, or a full list of clients. Additional details about the leadership roles of Juanita and the other named executives are expected to emerge as the new entity begins operations. For now, the launch marks the formal completion of a deal that reshapes two established names in talent representation and production services into a single international business.
